Doris Day

A Life In Song

Celebrating the Life and Work of America's Golden girl
Book by Emily Apps
Music and Lyrics by Various Artists
Arrangements by Emily Apps, Geoff Gascoyne and Will Sharma

This is Emily's first original show celebrating the life and work of America's Golden Girl - the unforgettable Doris Day.

Featuring Greatest Hits and Classic Hollywood Numbers, sit back and enjoy a musical timeline of Doris's life...

From her early rise to fame and movie musical success to her prolific recording career, Doris's legacy is celebrated on stage with a fantastic live band and vocals from Emily herself. Musical numbers are interjected with amusing anecdotes, personal revelations and stories about Doris's life and career.

'Doris Day: A Life In Song' is perfect for any venue be it a small cabaret stage or a theatre that seats 2,000 people.

The script and score can be adjusted to suit any time constraints or format. The show runs at approximately 70 mins long and all bespoke arrangements and orchestrations have been created to pay homage to Doris's original performances, giving a truly timeless feel to the show.

'Doris Day: A Life In Song' is available for hire as a Guest Entertainment Show on Cruise Ships, for Corporate Events Entertainment or Private Parties.

Enquires can be sent to emilyapps@btinternet.com for further details and booking fees.

Fees are dependent on scale of the performance venue and whether extra musicians are required for the performance.
